Young Leaders step up!

October 20, 2018 by Karen Young

In 2018 the Sweet Readers Leadership Council expanded to 15 Young Leaders from 7 New York City Schools:  Trinity, Fieldston, Brearley, Collegiate, Nightingale, Spence and Grace Church.  In this, the Council’s fourth year, our Young Leaders are once again raising awareness about Alzheimer’s and brain health, building new Sweet Readers communities (stay tuned for more announcements!) and strengthening existing communities.

Kate, Avital and Lucy have begun a three year facilitator training program which will give them the opportunity to immerse themselves in our programs from another dimension.  Eventually, our Young Leaders will be facilitating our after school programs and developing original curricula!!

Bravo to our amazing Young Leaders!
